Quite the life

As we've detailed in previous blog posts, we are the delighted beneficiaries of Poon's wonderfully delicious and varied Thai cooking 5 nights a week (along with leftover bliss throughout the weekend). During the week, Sam goes to various food courts and restaurants around town and Izaak goes with work folks either to the back sois (streets) for Isaan food or over to La Monita for surprisingly good Mexican food. Despite all of this good eating, we've both probably lost weight due to all of the fresh ingredients, lack of dairy and other great qualities of Thai cooking.

Eliana's a 4-year-old, so not too much to say about her eating except for a "rinse, wash, repeat" devotion to the same group of foods that is both frustrating and impressive.

However, the true food winner out of all of this may be Shane. Aside from the standards like pureed carrots, apples, cauliflower and broccoli, he also gets pureed papaya, guava, mango, pak bung (water spinach), and Thai pumpkin, among others. His rice cereal is freshly made from the source of one of the world's great rice producers. Needless to say, he's a good little eater.

And, as always, a little somethin' for the ladeez...
