Happy Songkran!

We are in the midst of the multi-day holiday/new year/water festival called Songkran. Today we ventured out into the streets and were summarily doused with squirt guns, super-soakers, buckets of ice water, garden hoses and any other water propellant people could think of. In addition, we were smeared with a talcum-y powder (although we weren't as bad as some taxi cabs, which were covered front-to-back in powdered handprints).

Here are some shots of us upon return...keep in mind we had dried of a bit at this point. At our wettest, we were all soaked head-to-toe, except for Shane who was mercifully just dabbed with water and powder.
